LVC Exhibits at World Vaccine Congress Washington

The Louisiana Vaccine Center was a first time exhibitor and delegate attendee at the 9th Annual World Vaccine Congress in Washington. The Congress is considered “North America’s most progressive vaccine industry event” which gathers vaccine science and business leaders to discuss philosophy, policy and advances in the field.

As one of twenty-six sponsors and exhibitors at the World Vaccine Congress, LVC displayed the expertise and facilities it has to offer alongside company’s such as: Beardsworth®, Covance®, Crucell, Diosynth™ Biotechnology (Schering-Plough),GE Healthcare, Millipore™ , and ProImmune.

The Louisiana Vaccine Center partnered with the New Orleans BioInnovation Center at the meeting to promote vaccine related biotech development in the Greater New Orleans area. By doing so, this gave an opportunity to display local efforts in vaccine research and development and the ability to network with Biotech companies for potential commercialization opportunities.

Dr. Alistair Ramsay, LVC Director and Steven Ceulemans, LVC Commercialization Coordinator, attended the Congress as full-access delegates. They attended the conference sessions, streams and panels.

With approximately eight hours of access per day, and as a venue for meals, inter-session breaks and speed-networking sessions; the exhibition hall provided an excellent opportunity for sponsors, delegates and other exhibitors to come by and visit the exhibit and learn more about the LVC throughout the three days of the Congress.

The hall was especially busy during conference session breaks and mealtime, providing ample opportunity to network with many of the Congress participants. As a first time exhibitor at the Congress, with a unique profile setting it apart from many of the other exhibitors at the conference, there was a lot of interest in LVC.
